    Announcements

    • Daylight Saving Time: Don’t forget to “spring forward” any manual clocks tonight so you don’t show up early to church.
    • Ice Cream Social with the Willow Pond Ward: Join us for an Ice Cream Social on Saturday, March 14 from 6:30–8:00 PM at the Greenoaks Chapel.
    • Our Sister Missionaries: Our sister missionaries, Sister Galinzoga and Sister Mason, would love to visit ward members’ homes each evening around 8:30 PM to share a gospel message and prayer. They are also available for dinner on Saturday and Sunday at 5:00 PM. Sign-up sheets for March 16–22 will be passed around in Relief Society and Elders Quorum. Hosting them will be a blessing to your family.
    • General Relief Society Broadcast & Testimony Meeting: Join us Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Stake House (5750 Nena Way) for a broadcast and testimony meeting; refreshments & mingling will follow.
    • Utah Coalition Against Pornography Conference (Hope, Help & Healing): Attend on Friday, March 14 (9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) at the Mountain America Expo Center (9575 State St). $15 in-person with a free online option, and registration is required at utahcoalition.org. See the attached conference flyer for speaker info and registration details.
    • Stake Easter Devotional & Choir: There will be Stake Easter Devotional on March 29. To add to this special event, there will be a Stake Choir. Practices will held Sundays from 3:00-4:00 at the Nena Way Chapel beginning on February 15 at the Stake Center. All are welcome!
    • Primary Easter Activity: the Primary is having an Easter activity on Friday, April 3rd 4:30 p.m. at the Greenoaks chapel. More details will follow.
    • Temple Recommend Interviews: Stake temple recommend interviews are held most Sundays, 1:30–3:00 p.m., by appointment only at the Stake Center at (619 W 5750 S). Please schedule a time at https://calendly.com/murraywest/temple (please choose the earliest available slot).

    Announcements

    • Linger Longer Tomorrow: Please stay after church tomorrow for a casual Linger Longer — a great chance to visit, connect, and build friendships. All are welcome and we’d love to see you there!
    • Murray West Stake Conference: Stake conference will be held on Saturday, February 21st, and Sunday, February 22nd. A leadership session will be held on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm followed by the Saturday evening session for all adult members at 6:00 p.m. The Sunday General Session will be held at 10:00 a.m. All Sessions will be held at the Murray West Stake Center on 619 W 5750 S.

    Announcements

    • New Meeting Time: Don’t forget that with the adjustments of the ward boundaries last week, we’re now meeting at 11:30 a.m.
    • Teacher Council for Parents: The Sunday School Teacher Council for Parents meeting will be held tomorrow, January 31 in the second overflow. All parents and grandparents are invited to attend.
    • Special Stake Meetings: Next Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., Stake Conference will be held and presided over by Elder Kevin G. Brown, a General Authority Seventy. During this meeting, Stake boundary adjustments will be presented.
    • BYU Pathway Information Session for Women: BYU-Pathway will be hosting an information for women on Tuesday, February 3rd at 12p and Wednesday, February 4th at 7p. See the attached flyer for more details.
    • Assisting the Sister Missionaries: The Sister Missionaries who serve our ward cover a large area and are currently using bicycles for transportation. They are in need of female drivers age 18 or older who are willing to help transport them to and from appointments.

    • Details for tomorrow’s sacrament meeting service.
    • Teacher Council for Teachers: The Sunday School Teacher Council meeting will be held tomorrow, January 25 in the second overflow. All teacher’s in the ward are invited to attend.
    • Special Stake Meetings: On Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., a special Stake Meeting will be held to announce Ward boundary changes that have been approved by the First Presidency. On Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., Stake Conference will be held and presided over by Elder Kevin G. Brown, a General Authority Seventy. During this meeting, Stake boundary adjustments will be presented.
    • Relief Society Women’s Conference: There’s a combined Murray Parkway, Murray North, and Murray West stake Women’s Conference on January 31st from 10a – 2:00 pm at our Stake Center. The theme is “Being a Daughter of God”. All women 18 and older are invited. Casual dress. See the attached flyer for more details.

    Educational Evening: Visit with representatives from BYU, BYU-Idaho, Ensign College, and BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Learn how these institutions are uniquely positioned to help you achieve your educational goals while learning in a Christ-centered environment. It will be held on Oct 14, 2025, 7:00 p.m. at the Bennion West Stake Center (3045 West Bernina Dr, Taylorsville, UT 84118)

    Primary Presentation: The Primary Presentation will be on November 9th. There will be a practice at the church on Saturday, November 8th at 10:00 a.m.

    Teachers Council: We invite teachers from all auxiliaries to attend one of our Teacher Council Meetings on October 19th and 26th. Brother and Ruth Lawrence will be leading these meetings, and we look forward to learning from them and each other. These meetings will take place during the second hour in the second overflow area of the cultural hall.

    2025 Temple Goal: Don’t forget to log your temple visits for our 2025 goal. Make one entry per visit. Don’t forget that any visit counts, even if you don’t go inside.
